HOT MODERN GLAM PT. 5 - HALLWAY/LAUNDRY ROOM

We are nearing the end of this “Hot Modern Glam” series. There are only two more spaces to showcase after the hallway and laundry room. First of all, hallways need love. They don’t just have to be painted. As you will see, there are alternatives to help you level up the passageway of your home.

I knew for sure that I wanted to add wainscoting to the walls (a complement to the living room accent), but I took it up a level with the wall covering. The trim work is painted the same color as the walls throughout the rest of the common spaces. Take a look below to see what it looked like before and what it looks like now.

That’s pretty impressive right? Feel free to take this inspiration for your own space! Now let’s move on to the laundry room. In here we went with a bold, yet subdued color choice for our cabinets. Can you guess what color?

In this laundry room, the flooring was complete and there was cabinetry, but my client wanted to add more storage. So we did just that. We added more cabinetry, installed a countertop, bench seat and sink cabinet. The lighting in the space was updated too. Take a look at the before and after pics below.
